My Story

I moved to Clear Lake from Montana in the fall of 2018 with my family when my Husband took a job with Pritchard Auto. I was going to school full time pursuing my accounting degree at the time. In May of 2019, the day after Mother’s Day, I was getting ready for my first day of work with a local business when I had a heart attack. Not having established a support system yet, and not knowing many people, I longed for a way out of the house to meet people. I love a Farmer’s Market and was dying to do something other than sit around, so with the help of my husband and 2 sons, I did! In June of 2019, Lake Lemonade was launched! A friend in Montana had a lemonade stand and was super supportive in us starting one here. When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade, so #notsour became our battle cry! It started as a fun way to get out and take our minds off of a summer lost (can’t go on a boat cruise while wearing a defibrillator vest)! It has turned into one of my great joys in life, seeing my customers and watching them walk away satisfied with something I created! We are VERY excited that we will be in Clear Lake and Mason City Farmer’s markets, and several other pop up markets all over North Iowa and Southern Minnesota!

My husband and I have always loved food…ESPECIALLY Bites…appetizers, charcuterie, cheese boards…snacking basically lol. We also love to go out on the boat. So we thought, what if someone offered Charcuterie to people to take out on the boat? So in May of 2021, CharcuteMe was born! CharcuteMe started offering custom charcuterie boxes to go for that sunset cruise, dock side with family, or any weekend gathering with loved ones. Our Charcuterie Boards to go are a selection of our favorite Italian Cured meats, a wide variety of cheeses, olives, pickled goodies, dried and fresh fruits, fruit jams, mustards, honey, and sweet treats like candied nuts and chocolates. Whenever possible, our boxes include Iowa produced products, and we try and avoid the box stores in our ingredients!!. We also offer a selection of wines from Iowan wineries to pair with your specific offering.

• Full Catering and Grazing services for weddings, parties and corporate events, specializing in “bites”…appetizers to Elevate your Celebrate!

• Specialty Charcuterie Boards for special occasions or Corporate Gifting
